SnOasis latest

SnOasis, the £350 million project to create the world’s first winter sports resort in Suffolk, has reached an important stage in its journey to reality.

While the local authority has given full approval for the plans submitted by the developer, Onslow Suffolk, the application was ‘called in’ by the office of The Rt Hon Ruth Kelly MP - Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and Minister for Women. As a result, a Public Inquiry has been held and this concludes this month. Due to the exceptional scale of the proposed development, there has been a small but vociferous opposition group who have attempted to undermine the plans.

A quick update

Hey,
Just got back yesterday, flying back out tomorrow.
Been at BSA quite alot this season and its been pretty good apart from the snow - that ain’t been too good this season at all.

I have been to Andorra, did alright there not too good though. The Welsh was much better, I won the slalom by quite a bit but sadly the GS was cancelled due to bad weather. I came out in the inter-schools slalom and I wasn’t there for the GS- travelling to Andorra.

Flying back to BSA tomorrow for a week or so ,
Hope there’s some more snow, now, so we can go powder skiing cant wait :P

Then I’m meant to be going to Abetone with the GB Team. After that I go to the British and the English Championships. I’m going to be sooo tired.

Busy weeks ahead

Over the next few weeks Alessia has a very busy schedule covering,

12th March - Inter-schools
13th March - Fly to Andorra with GB Childrens Team
18th March - Back to the UK
20th March - France
28th March - Italy with GB Childrens Team
1st April - Meribel for the British Champs
8th April - Put St Vincent for the English Champs

And then back home.

A Win at the Welsh Champs!

Today Alessia won her age group at the Welsh Champs in Champery, Switzerlad.
